The Botanist, Kaikoura Cheeses


In this month’s cheese box, we’ve tried to curate a selection of cheesy treats based on their unusual additional flavours - from smoked chipotle chilli, to kawa kawa leaves, we hope you’ll enjoy this boxes of cheeses with a little extra.

We received such incredibly positive feedback about the Tenara cheese is last month’s cheese box, that we thought we send you another one of the cheesy delights from Kaikoura cheeses.

The Botanist is a sheeps’ milk cheese based on a Causican recipe. Like most of the Kaikoura range, it’s a soft cheese with a creamy, clean interior that’s a delight to eat. For a bit of added flavour, the rind is lightly coated in chili, rosemary, fennel and juniper berries.
