Kingsmeade’s Castle Point Aged Feta
I bet you’re thinking ‘Feta? How exciting can that be?’ but trust us, this feta is goooood.
And what’s it’s additive? Well - it’s time. Aged for 6-12 months, this is a sheep feta that boasts a deep, rich flavour, without the usual saltiness. The cheese is crumbly and tangy, great on your cheese platter, or in a salad. We recommend pairing it with a pinot noir or a zinfandel.
Janet and Miles started their business in 1998 with 60 friesian ewes and 2 paddocks. These days they’ve got more than 200 sheep across 17 paddocks, but they still know most of their sheep by name! The family currently produce 14 different types of cheese (but this might be our favourite… so far).
